  1. As it is, I think that the U.S's Intervention period was a bit...off. One way or another, if the rebels or the government is defeated, the civil war would stop, and I think that was one of the U.S's intention. And they came in intervening when the rebels are almost defeated, and kept the war going on for even longer. So I think Putin's "Where is the logic, where is the conscience? There is neither one nor the other." is pretty explainable.

  2. I think this article is about like if the UN should intervene with Libya or not. Then Putin says that we should because we already intervened with Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Iraq and now he says it's Libya's turn. Putin also says that Where is the logic, where is the conscience which i believe means that how are we going to intervene and stop the war. And i think he also says that they are doing the right thing to strengthen the military in Russia.

  3. I think every country want to intervent to Lybia is the right thing, but they have to notice when is the right time. If a country intervent to Lybia at the right time, the war might stop and the people will be safe. But if the intervention is at the wrong time, the war might be longer and longer, and maybe there're more people will get hurt, more disease, and maybe they will run out of foods, clean water, and medicine...

  4. I think this article is about the UN intervene with Libya but they not sure if they should do it or not. If they do it in the right time and place, they might save the Libyans from civil wars. On the other hand, they could go cross the line and the Libyans could be destroy or fall into decline. Putin said there is no logic or conscience to this military action.

  5. I think that the article talks about should or should not the UN intervene into Libya. Putin says that we SHOULD intervene into Libya because we have gone this far, we have already intervene into Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Iraq why not Libya. Also that Putin said "Where is the logic, where is the conscience? There is neither one nor the other."

  7. I think the article is about people trying to intervene in Libya and how they make the war last longer. But come on, i know you want to help but choose the right time to help! It's good helping people but if you are going to make it worst then stop helping!PEACE!

  8. They are wondering if they should intervene Libya or not, Putin had made his point when he mentioned that we had already intervene Afghanistan, Yugoslavia and Iraq so now why not Libya. He also wanted the audience to ask them self how are we stopping the war, by violence or what?

I think the US's intention is to defeat the rebels of government, and stop the civil war.

  9. I think the article talking about should they intervene Libya or not. They already intervene Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Iraq know he want to intervene Libya. But they don't know the right time to intervene.

  10. I think this article is about UN resolution allowing an military to intervene Lybia but they don't know when is the right time for them to do that. There is no logic or conscience in this war.
......"West in years, Russia's de facto number one said there was no "logic" or "conscience" to the military action.".......

  11. In my opinion. the article is about the UN should or should not intervene Libya. But then, Putin mentioned the time when we intervened Afghanistan, Yugoslavia and Iraq. Putin also said that "Where is the logic, where is the conscience? There is neither one nor the other." which make sense. Even know the world should intervene Libya but we need logic and conscience in our resolution toward Libya. Violent not always the greatest resolution.

  12. I think this article is about the world should or should not intervene Libya. Many people talked about this, some said we should intervene, some said we should not. According to the article, Putin says that we should intervene Libya because we have gone that much far, we have already intervene Iraq, Yugoslavia, and Afghanistan, then why don't we intervene Libya. Although, the world wanted to intervene Libya, but they need to be logical and be careful with their decisions, because violence is not always the greatest resolution.
